- ensures maintenance of equipment in accordance with issued decrees and regulations

- monitors the implementation of repairs of fire equipment, equipment and armaments

- in the delegated competence, at the decision of the commander of the SDH unit of the municipality, keeps a book on the operation of machines, vehicles and fuel consumption

- keeps documentation on the professional competence of drivers - engineers, manages the activities of engineers in the corps / unit of the SDH of the municipality

- participates in training, including verification of knowledge within set deadlines

- submits, together with the unit commander, requirements to the unit founder for the write-off or purchase of the necessary equipment and armaments
