TECHNICIAN TECHNICAL AND CHEMICAL SERVICES
IN THE SDH MUNICIPALITY UNIT
1. General requirements for the performance of work The technician of the technical and chemical service must have the necessary knowledge and skills specified for the function of firefighter (acquired by completing basic training). They must also have the necessary knowledge and skills to: - use, operate, treat and maintain the technical and chemical service equipment of their PO unit in working order (hereinafter "designated equipment"), - deployment tactics, - conduct training of their PO unit in the field of technical and chemical services. 2. KNOWS:
methods of labeling dangerous substances, method of identification of dangerous substances on the basis of available information, scope of preliminary measures of the PO unit when interfering with dangerous substances, size of dangerous zone with regard to the type of dangerous substance, tasks and activities of its PO unit when interfering with dangerous substances.
IS ABLE:
according to the characteristics visible at the scene of the event, evaluate whether it may be an intervention with the presence of a dangerous substance.

Services in the unit
KNOWS:
tasks of technical service and chemical service at the PO unit, documentation of technical service and chemical service kept at the PO unit (in written or possibly also in electronic form), provisions of the Service Performance Code in units, SDH municipalities and SDH enterprises related to the use of designated funds , procedures and conditions for care, maintenance, storage and ensuring the operability of specified devices to the extent specified in the instructions for use (use), safety limits for the use of specified devices and reasons for which it is forbidden to use specified devices, user control procedures for specified devices, deadlines operational inspections and revisions of designated agents, methods of deployment of designated agents, basic tactical and technical data of designated agents, properties, determination and method of use of sorbets and extinguishing agents, methods of decontamination of designated agents.
CAN:
keep documentation on the operation, inspections, maintenance and testing of specified devices (in written or electronic form), use specified devices, perform their treatment and maintenance and store them in the prescribed manner.
